That's right, our baby business is growing up! We have all been through so much in a year. Talented staff helping us to grow the business, employing a head chef, training a young and up and coming chef and employing a new Manager! Ray, our newest addition to the team is our new appointed manager, who's presence will allow Marnie and Ben to focus on building the business to be a stronger asset to the community. Welcome to the team Ray!

We won't lie, it has been and will continue to be a very hard job, but with our dedicated team and all the incredibly helpful feedback from the community, we know we are on the right track to nurturing our business venture.


We are excited to launch our new menu just 1 day after our birthday! With plenty of Winter specials to warm the cockles we have you covered for those bitter, rainy and chilly months.

Well, we wont rush it that fast! But we will make our 7 course Turkish Mezze themed dining event extra special by using authentic Turkish recipes, and to finish it oh so bitter-sweetly, you can enjoy a cup of Cardamom coffee with a slice of our home made rose and basil Turkish delight. But don't worry, we have something special for you on New Years Eve!

We made a promise to do more in the evenings, which is why we are happy to announce we will be cooking Christmas dinners from December 2nd to the end of Christmas. Thursday to Saturday 6.30pm onwards. Bigod's Kitchen is also available for private hire for business and family functions Wednesday to Sundays during the Christmas period. Where we all love a good celebratory roast with all the trimmings, we are most excited about our decadent Starters. Featuring Shallow fried Saganaki with Balsamic and honey poached figs, Moroccan Filo bites with Harissa humus and our rich Squash soup with sour cream, crispy sage and toasted chestnut crumble <3

But we digress! 31st of this month we are hosting an exciting event "Bad Business", which has completely sold out! Featuring rude waiters, topsy-turvy food and an array of mischievous escapades throughout dinner service. Don't worry if you missed this one, we are collaborating with the Fisher Theatre on March 26th hosting our very own Fawlty Towers Event! Tickets will be going on sale at the Fisher Theatre in December.


A short and sweet Blog this week, as we are preparing for our (SOLD OUT) V.I.P tasting and birthday party this coming Sunday, where our regulars will be drinking fizz and sampling some items from the new menu. We would like to thank you all for your interest, feedback and support. Many of you visit us, looking forward to a giggle, and its exactly that, that truly makes it all worth while.
